By permission of author. Ohio County BOYD F. REYNOLDS became the Fortieth pastor of the Green River Church, on September 10, 1971, by receiving 43 votes out of the 48 persons present at the Business Meeting on that date. After the vote, all stood and agreed to support his ministry in their midst. During his pastorate the Church erected a Sunday School Annex in 1972-1973 and the value of the total Church Property increased from the sum of $54,000.00 in 1971 to $68.000.00 in 1972 and $88,000.00 in 1973. Also, Church membership reached 303 for the first time in the Church's history. We have no particulars concerning his family life.
