A Sesquicentennial History of the Green River Missionary Baptist Church 1836 - 1986, Written and Compiled by Wendell Holmes Rone, Sr., For the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Founding of the Church, 1987. By permission of author. Ohio County. STANLEY R. HAHN was elected as the Twenty-Eighth pastor of the Green River Church on June 2, 1946, for that year; as the Church had followed the practice of an Annual Call for many years. In the period of January-May, 1946, the Church had been unable to secure a Pastor, although an effort had been put forth to do so. In his call, it was only for the remainder of the year 1946. He was called for one-half time at $25.00 per week, or $1,300.00 per year. He received another call on November 17, 1946, for another year, at the same salary. Incomplete records show that Brother Hahn's pastorate must have been concluded at least by April, 1947, as another Moderator was elected in his place the following month. His pastorate was routine and uneventful. Hahn = none http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kybiog/ohio/hahn.sr.txt
