Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 7th ed., Kenton Co. MAURIC BISING, hotel and bar keeper at what is known as the Five-mile House, in Kenton County, Ky., was born in Switzerland November 15, 1849. His father was Mauric Bising, and his mother was Louisa Steinour. Mauric, our subject, came to America when small with his parents, who settled in Cincinnati, but afterward moved to Enochsburg, Ind., where our subject was brought up and educated. About 1880 he engaged in business in Cincinnati, and remained there until 1886, when he engaged in his present business in Kenton County, Ky. February 28, 1878, he married Kate Naber, a daughter of William Naber, a native of Germany but a resident of Indiana. To this union is born one child, Willie B.
