ROBERT N. PFEIFFER, M.D., was born in this city June 25, 1859, and is a
son of Peter Pfeiffer, a native of Germany, who emigrated to the United
States in 1840.  The subject of this sketch was educated in the schools
of Louisville.  He read medicine with Dr. John T. Williams, demonstrator
of anatomy in the College of Medicine, and graduated in Hospital Medical
College in the class of 1883, and has been engaged in active practice
ever since.  Soon after graduating he practiced for a time in Bartholomew
County, Ind., but came to Louisville and established himself at 931 East
Main street.
