EDMUND FLAGG
Was a native of Maine, born Nov. 24, 1815; emigrated to Louisville in
1835, and was a citizen of Kentucky for several years - part of the time
associated with George D. Prentice in the editorial management of the
Louisville News Letter, to which, and to the Louisville Journal, he made
some poetical contributions.  He became somewhat distinguished as a prose
