WORNALL, farmer, P. O. Cynthiana, born in Harrison County, December 1834, is a son of Thomas Wornall of Clark County, and a grandson of Thomas Wornall, Sr., a native of Virginia. Thomas Wornall, Jr. married Rebecca Bean, daughter of John and Eva Bean, of Virginia, by whom he had three children. J. W. Wornall, the subject of this notice, received his education from the common schools of Harrison County, spending his early years upon the farm. On April 21, 1857, he married, in Bourbon County, Sophia M., daughter of Major John and Elizabeth (Keller) Edwards. Mr. Wornall was for two years engaged in the distilling business, but has returned to farming, which he prosecutes with success. He is a Democrat in politics.
