McCLINTOCK, farmer, P. O. Cynthiana, was born July 7, 1826, in Bourbon County, Ky.; son of Samuel and Elizabeth Martin, a sketch of whose lives, written by Mrs. Martin, appears in another place in this section of this work. After receiving his education, our subject began farming, which he has followed throughout life. He was married in May, 1866, in Harrison County, to Nancy Scott, born in Harrison County, April 13, 1843, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (McShane) Scott, and four children have been born to them, three of whom are living, viz: William T., Effie and Samuel. Mr. McClintock has a farm of eighty-four acres, and makes stock raising a specialty. Self and wife are members of the Christian Church, and he is a Republican.
