WILLIAMS is a native of Hickman County, Ky., and was born February 5, 1833. In 1847 he was brought by his parents to Graves County, where he still resides. He is the son of Jordan C. and Sally D. (Boaz) Williams, whose children are Thomas S., subject, Joshua, Martha E. (Ladd), Polly A. (Starks), Robert, Lydia F. (Cannon) and Samuel. Subject was married December 20, 1854, to Miss Parthena A., daughter of Issac and Betsey A. (Gray) Cannon of Graves County, and to them have been born William T. (deceased), Isaac J., Sallie A. (Carter), Martha C. (deceased), Jo. N., Joshua, John B., Robert, Horace K., Earnest (deceased) and a son unnamed, born February 5, 1883. Mr. Williams is a farmer and an extensive dealer in produce and live stock. He is the owner of 360 acres of good land in a splendid state of cultivation.
