DR. J.C. REYNOLDS was born in Graves County, Ky., January 16, 1844.  He
is a son of Pryor and Lucretia (Williams) Reynolds.  The doctor was
reared on his father's farm, where he remained until the age of 
nineteen.  He then commenced the study of dentistry with his brother,
and after working three years under his instruction, he was admitted
as a partner.  This partnership continued until 1882, when his brother 
retired from the firm.  Through close attention to study the doctor
has mastered his profession, and is now prepared to perform all work
in his line with neatness and dispatch.  He was married in 1866 to Miss
Mary Smith, of Graves County; three sons have blessed this union.  Dr.
and Mrs. Reynolds are members of the Baptist Church.
