Honorable JAMES BROWN, a brother of the Honorable John Brown, was a distinguished lawyer in Kentucky, and a cotemporary [sic] at the bar of the Honorable Henry Clay, (both of whom married daughters of Colonel Thomas Hart), and also of George Nicholas, Mr. Murray, John Breckinridge, and others, and was distinguished, even in such competition, as an able lawyer and eloquent speaker.
