DEARING was born in Fleming County, Ky., February 29, 1860, the eldest of six children born to Frank and Miranda (Pearce) Dearing, natives respectively of Indiana and Poplar Plains, Fleming County. Mr. Frank Dearing was born in 1836, and now resides three miles from Flemingsbrug. William G. Dearing was educated at the Kentucky Military Institute, from which he graduated in 1879, and at the Harvard University, from which he graduated in 1883. In 1884 he commenced to read law with Andrews & Sudduth at Flemingsburg, and began practice in 1885. March 16, 1887, he married Miss Margurite Chenault, of Mount Sterling, Ky. Mr. Dearing owns 200 acres near Flemingsburg, is a Knight Templar, and in politics is a Democrat.
