JOHN T. TAYLOR was born in Oldham County, Ky., Dec. 29, 1850.  His
parents were Captain William J. Taylor and Martha J. Spears, also
natives of Oldham County.  They are both living in Masonville Precinct. 
She is a member of the Christian church.  They had four children, three
sons and one daughter, John T. being the eldest.  He was but two years
