ROBERT PATRICK was born in Jeffersonville, Ind., March 27, 1832. When he was twenty-one years of age he went to French Island, Spencer Co., Ind., and remained two years; then came to Daviess County, and remained two years. He then went to Grandview, Ind., and worked in a ship-yard a year. In 1857 he went to Louisville and ran a saw-mill about four years. In the spring of 1863 he returned to Daviess County, and now lives about three and a half miles west of Owensboro. He has a well-improved farm of about thirty-five acres. He was married in 1852 to Aminda E. Veatch, of Spencer County, Ind. She was but fourteen years of age and died the following year. In 1855 Mr. Patrick married Mary Ann Harrel, a native of Daviess County. She died in 1866, leaving two children--Cora and Mary. In 1867 he married Frances Armstrong, a native of Meade County, Ky., born in 1845. To them have been born six children--Maggie, Thomas, Minnie, Rose Frances, Annie, Lavinia. Mr. Patrick has been a member of the Baptist church since sixteen years of age. He is Trustee of School No. 57, Ash Valley District. He is a member of Owensboro Lodge, No. 132, I. O. O. F.
