   From a recent issue of the Roseburg (Oregon) New-Review, comes the
following account of the wedding anniversary of a former Crittenden
County couple:
   Mr. and Mrs. Henry Paris, of 747 Hamilton Street, celebrated their
61st wedding anniversary at their home on February 9th, at which time
their many friends called to congratulate them.  Mr. Paris was 82 years
of age January 23 and Mrs. Paris will be 78 on May 10.  They were
married in Marion, Kentucky, February 9, 1870, and moved to Oregon
March 15, 1910, and have made their home in Roseburg since that time.
   Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Paris, five of whom
survive.  They are John Paris, of Zillah, Washington; William Lewis
and Robert, all of Roseburg, and one daughter, Mrs. Sarah Powell, also
of Roseburg.
