CRIDER, of near Repton, who served three years in the Confederate army during the Civil War, still lives on the farm on which he was born in 1843. He says that he still farms in the same way he always did. Mr. Crider served under Adam Johnson during the war. Mrs. Crider, his second wife, who was Miss Isabell Gilbert, died seventeen years ago. The first Mrs. Crider was Miss Lutitia Burton. All six of Mr. Crider's children, three sons and three daughters, are living, two in Crittenden county, one in Webster county, one in Arkansas, one in Indiana, and the other in Florida.
