Creed Haskins
	My great grandfather was Creed Haskins and my grandfather was Creed
Haskins, a captain in the war of 1812.  He married Susan C. Wadlington and
had three sons, John, Thomas, and William, and four daughters, Sallie,
Elizabeth, Mary and Lucy.  My mother's name was Elizabeth, who married
Samuel B. Benett.  I am the eldest son, named Creed Haskins for my
grandfather, a noble Christian man and soldier, who died from exposure in
the army.  Grandmother came from Virginia to Kentucky in 1838 and settle
in Christian County.
