(whose sketch is given above) and Keziah (Slay) Burns. Roland C. Burns studied law under the preceptorship of his father, was admitted to the bar in 1867, and has since been in active practice in Boyd and adjacent counties. September 5, 1866, he married Miss Kennie Wammock, of Boyd County, daughter of James Wammock, and to this union have been born three children.
