On the 25th of August 1818 before me the undersigned one of the licensed jurors of the district of ___________? appeared the above named soldier, at the age of 57 resided in Fayette Co, Ky, who states he enlisted in the Revolutionary War, that in the year 1777 in the state of Maryland for three years in the company commanded by Captain John Finch? in the 6th regiment commanded by Col O Williams, that he was discharged at Annapolis. He was in the Battle of Germantown, Monmoth and etc. - He said he had a wife age 57 and 3 children. He seemed to have made application for pension in Bourbon Co before the clerk Thos P Smith 1820.
