Marriage Bond/Cert.

Known by all men presents that we Malinda Lucas
and Joseph McColley acknowledge themselves indebited
to the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of $50
current money which payment will and truly be made,
we bind ourselves and each of our heirs, jointly and
severally firmley by these presents sealed with our
seals and dated this 28 day of May 1828.

The condition of the above obligation is such that where
as the above bound Joseph McColly is about to obtain a
license for a marriage intended between the said Joseph
McColly and Malinda Lucas now should then be no lawful
ensecure to obstruct said marriage then this obligation
shall be void else remain in full force.

Joseph McColly & Richard Lucas

The rights of matrimony were celebrated between
Joseph McColly & Malinda Lucas on 29 day of May 1828.
