Worthington, 75, Grayson, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Worthington was born May 11, 1900, at Kehoe, a son of the late Finley and Martha VanBibber Worthington. He was a retired maintenance foreman with the Central Kentucky Natural Gas Co., a member of the Venice Christian Church at Venice, Fla., and a member of the Greenup Masonic Lodge 89 F&AM. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bertha M. Worthington; four sons, Finley Worthington of Lawrenceburg, Ind., Carl Worthington of South Shore, Shannon Worthington of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Paul Donald Worthington of Grayson; and two daughters, Mrs. Fern Wurtz of Venice and Mrs. Martha Lee (Tommy) Johnson of Lloyd. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Riggs Funeral Home in Greenup by the Rev. Donald Damron and the Rev. David Williams. Burial was in Carter County Memory Gardens.
