Wilfred "Bill" Willis II       
1929 - 2004 

Wilfred Ernest “Bill” Willis II, age 74, of Grayson, KY, passed away Wednesday, October 13th, 2004 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. 
He was born December 15, 1929 in New Jersey, a son of the late Wilfred Ernest and Helen Cole Willis of New Jersey. 

Bill was a retired consultant of Design Engineering. He graduated Beta Cum Laude from Columbia University in New York, New York. 

Bill was an elder of Bayless Memorial Presbyterian Church in Grayson where he also taught Sunday School. 
He was a member of Carter County Ministerial Association, the American Red Cross, Grayson Rotary Club, the Habitat for Humanity and was a Kentucky Colonel. 
He served on the board of directors of Project Merry Christmas and served as president of the Good Samaritans. 
He was the leader of the Community Prayer Service for Grayson and was a volunteer at Chapel House and the Carter County G.E.D. program. 


His survivors include: His wife: Joneva Smith Willis Grayson;  4 children: Dormi Willis,  Petri Willis,  Cole Willis and Wilfred Ernest Willis III.  
2 stepchildren and spouses: Charles J. and Jane Smith of Waddy, KY and Patricia K. and Ernest Reed of New Haven, CT. 2 sisters: Ann Scott of New Jersey 
and Helen Connelly of New Jersey.  3 step-grandchildren: Diana Reed, Brad Smith and Dustin Smith. 


Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 16th, 2004 at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home 
with Dr. Lee Gussler, Delmar Rogers and John Dean, ministers. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. 
Friends may call Friday evening from 6-9pm and Saturday after 9:00am until service time at the funeral home. 
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Community Hospice 1538 Central Avenue Ashland, KY 41101.
