Garrell Gene Willis - 1932-2006 Garrell Gene Willis, age 73, of Kagley Road in Greenup, Ky., passed away Monday, June 19, 2006, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Mr. Willis was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late Clyde and Oma Willis of Grayson. He was a retired laborer with CSX Railroad in Raceland, Ky. He was well known in Greenup and Carter counties for his love of horses. Surviving are his wife, Diane Stewart Willis of Greenup; a daughter, Debbie Augarten of Columbus, Ohio; four sons, Doug Willis, Darrell Willis and Richard Willis, all of Greenup, and Michael Willis of Summit, Ky.; 10 grandchildren; three brothers, George Willis, Elwood Willis and Bob Willis, all of Grayson, Ky.; and a sister, Joan Stone of Hitchins, Ky. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Danny Brown, minister. Burial will be in Huffman Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, June 21, at the funeral home.
