Thelma June Carroll

Born – 1932

GRAHN – Thelma June Carroll went home to be with her Lord on April 17. Mrs. Carroll was born May 31, 1932 in Grahn, 
the daughter of Estill ‘Jim Bob’ and Gaythel Ingraham Wilburn. She is survived by her husband, Lewis Carroll. 
They were married on June 16, 1956. 

Thelma was preceded in death by both parents and also a brother, Louie T. ‘Maxwell’ Wilburn, and a sister, Erma Jean Wilburn Pope.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Carroll is survived by a brother, Charles Wilburn and his wife Wanda, of Grahn; 
sister-in-law Rosa Wilburn and brother-in-law Walter Pope of Dayton, Ohio. Also surviving is a son, Bennie Joe Carroll of Wilmington, Ohio; 
daughter-in-law, Becky Carroll; grandchildren, Sarah Brooks Carroll, Cameron Lucas Carroll, and Clay Logan Carroll. 
Thelma also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives whom she loved dearly.

Thelma June accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1968 and has served him faithfully since. She attended Kirk-Memorial Baptist Church at Grahn.

Thelma June lived life with a joy that touched all those she came in contact with. She will be sadly missed by all her friends.

Visitation was held Thursday, April 19. Funeral was Friday, April 20, at 10 a.m. at Oney-Henderson Funeral Home. 
Officiating was Jim Carroll and J.D. Riggs. Burial followed at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
