Kentucky GenWeb projectMargie Irene Lester 1916-2003 Margie Irene Lester, 86, of Ashland, Ky., went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, in the Boyd County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Dec. 28, 1916, in Blaine, Ky., a daughter of the late Marion H. and Artie Justice Wheeler. She was a member of Westwood United Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer B. Lester, in 1991, and a son, Gary Roger Lester, in 1985. Surviving are a daughter, Doris Williams and her husband, Bob, of Ashland; a son, Larry A. Lester and his wife, Susan, of Catlettsburg, Ky.; and three grandchildren, Micah Lester, Zachary Lester and Robin Lester. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home in Ashland by the Rev. Charles E. Stewart and the Rev. Stan Williams. Burial will follow in Castle Cemetery in Blaine. Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
