Prominent Grayson Woman Dies After Brief Illness

Mrs. Grace Tabor McClave, 59, wife of Emmitt McClave, prominent Grayson real estate dealer, died at the Grayson, Carter Co., 
hospital at 2:30 pm yesterday following a four day illness.

Mrs. McClave was born September 17, 1893, at Olive Hill, a daughter of the late Madison and Sarah Tabor. 
She was a member of the Eastern Star, Grayson Woman's Club, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Grayson Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm tomorrow at the Grayson Church of Christ with the Rev. 
Fred Griffith and the Rev. J. H. Finch officiating. Burial will follow in Grayson Memorial Park.

Surviving in addition to the husband are four daughters, Mrs. W. Bruce Wheeler, Ashland, Mrs. Willard Perkins of Bowling Green, Ky., 
and Mrs. Jerre Haffield and Mrs. Arnaldous VanLoon, both of Vero Beach, Fla., five sons, Bruce McClave of Gregoryville, Ky., 
Ralph McClave of Lucasville, O., Matt McClave of Bowling Green, Ky., Bob McClave with the Army at Camp Breckinridge, Ky., 
and Jim McClave with the Air Force at Falmouth, Mass.

The body was removed from the Malone Funeral Home to the residence at 10 am today and will be taken to the church at 1 pm 
tomorrow to lie in state one hour before the services.
