Kentucky GenWeb projectClark David Suttles March 22, 1902 - Jan.29, 1995 Clark David Suttles, 92, of Jackson, formerly of Ironton,Ohio died Sunday after an extended illness. The Carter County, Ky., native was born March 22, 1902, the son of late Alexander Suttles and Mallie Adkins. He was the husband of the late Mary Elizabeth Blankenship Suttles. He was a retired employee of the Sement Solvay division of Allied Chemical Corp. and was a member of Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs Edward (Janet) Sisler of Springfield, Mrs Harold (Esther) Cade of Pedro, Betty Suttles of Ironton, Loretta Suttles of Hanging Rock; one son, William F. Suttles of Catlettsburg, Ky; 19 grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mable Kouns of Paducah, Ky. He was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Ray Suttles and Clark Elwood Suttles. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home, with Rev. Bill Cade officiating. Burial will be at Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
