Woman Dropped Dead On Sunday -
While Celebrating Her Birthday Anniversary

While a birthday celebration in her honor was at its height, Mrs. Richard Carroll, 78, of Grayson, dropped dead Sunday evening at four-thirty.
Relatives and friends had gathered at the home of Mrs. Carrol, Sunday to observe her seventy-eighth birthday anniversary. Following the dinner served
to the guests, they had retired to the living room and had spent a pleasant afternoon.

Shortly after four-thirty, she suddenly toppled from her chair, and died before medical aid could be summoned. Her death was attributed to heart failure.

George Carroll and Charles Carroll of Ashland, Thomas Carrol of Ironton, are brothers-in-law of the stricken woman. Miss Hattie Carroll of Russell, is a niece.

The funeral services are to be held at the home at Grayson Monday afternoon at one-thirty and the interment will be made in the family cemetery.
