Sylvia Stewart 1937 - 2004 Sylvia J. Stewart, age 67, of Hitchins, KY, passed away Monday, December 6th, 2004. She was born May 13, 1937 at Carter County, KY, one of twelve children of the late James A. and Lendy E. Romans Stewart. She was a Caretaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Her survivors include: 3 sisters: Lillie M. Haney of Hitchins, KY; Grace E. Parsons of Ashland, KY and Rosa S. Stewart of Hitchins, KY. 3 brothers: Glen R, Stewart of Olive Hill, KY; Edgar A. Stewart Rush, KY and Fred W. Stewart Olive Hill, KY. 10 nieces; 11 nephews; 15 great-nieces; 23 great-nephews and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00am at the Malone Funeral Home with Mark Griffith, minister. Burial will be in the Stewart Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-9pm and Thursday after 9:00am at the funeral home.
