Kentucky GenWeb projectPortsmouth Daily Times, Friday, May 9, 1980 Stamper Lucasville – Mrs. Madlyn Gertrude Stamper, 80, of Taylor’d Health Care, died Thursday night at Scioto Memorial Hospital. A native of Carter County, Ky., she is survived by three sons, A. C. Elkins of Ashland, Ky., William Stamper of Cincinnati and Theodore Stamper of Lebanon, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Katheryn Shaffer of Wheelersburg, Mrs. Betty Wellman of West Portsmouth and Mrs. Gladys Meyers of Gambirlls, Md.; a sister, Mrs. Norma Ethel Fisher of Sacramento, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Services are planned at 2 p.m. Sunday at Daehler Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Voss officiating, and interment in Scioto Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
