Ella May Herron 

Mrs. Ella May (Stamper) Herron, 75, of Middletown, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004. 

She was born in Hitchins, Ky., on Dec. 9, 1928, to Mark and Beulah Stamper. She married Shirley Edward Herron on March 26, 1949. Mrs. Herron was a member of the Living Word Church. She loved camping and traveling, and enjoying her grandchildren. 

A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Shirley in 1994; and a son, Tim Herron in 2000. 

She is survived by three sons, Fred (Joann) Cranford of Middletown, Michael (Linda) Herron of Monroe, and George (Kathy) Herron of Franklin; two daughters, Marketta (John) Egelston of Franklin and Shirley (Robert) Skeens of Middletown; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie, Fred, Michelle, Michael, Joshua, George, C.J., Jonathan, Becky, Erika, Laral, Brandon and Emily; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Phylis Clevenger of Hitchins, Ky.; a brother, Bob Stamper of Ironton, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, with Pastor James Anderson officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. .
