Ray Wheeler Richmond Born – 1950 OLIVE HILL – Mr. Ray Wheeler Richmond, age 56, of Route 3, Olive Hill, passed away Saturday afternoon, July 28, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. Mr. Richmond was born September 4, 1950 in Solider, the son of the late Noah Wheeler Richmond and Helen Marie Rougie Richmond Whiteman. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Richmond was of the Baptist faith and a life long farmer. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rosewood Holbrook Richmond; One son and daughter-in-law, Rockie and Cindy Richmond of Olive Hill; one daughter and son-in-law, Dusty and Thomas Fountain of Olive Hill; step-mother, Lily Decker and step-father, Jerry Whiteman; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Janet Richmond of Olive Hill, Jim and Linda Perry of Mansfield, Ohio; six sisters and brothers-in-law, Kim Spangler of Defiance, Ohio, Dawn and Kevin Harper of Ridgeville, Ohio, Teresa and Roy Willizber of Defiance, Ohio, Debbie and Don Varner of Whitehouse, Ohio, Linda and Rod Kunkle of Palmdale, California, Anna and Casey Hathaway of Atlanta, Georgia; three granddaughters, Crystal, Annie and Katelynn Fountain, and a host of family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 31, at 2 p.m. at the Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill. Burial followed in the Holbrook Hollow Cemetery in Olive Hill.
