Kentucky GenWeb projectWalter Kent Prichard 1945-2004 Walter Kent Prichard, 59, of 1481 Donathan Road, Louisa, Ky., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, in Charleston Area Medical Center. He was born Jan. 28, 1945, in Louisa, a son of Alice Salmons Prichard of Louisa and the late Charles Martin Prichard. He was a retired school bus driver with the Lawrence County Board of Education. He was a member of Louisa Church of God. Additional survivors include his wife, Lana Ailiff Prichard of Louisa; a daughter, Dee (John) Willis of Morehead, Ky.; a son, David Kent (Kelly) Prichard of Morehead; two sisters, Ruth Davidson of Decatur, Ga., and Charlene Pack of Louisa; three brothers, Charley Martin Prichard of Louisa, Bill (Carole) Prichard of North Tonawanda, N.Y., and Roland (Augusta) Prichard of Wyandotte, Mich.; a grandchild, Caleb Ethan Prichard of Morehead; a sister-in-law, Ann Prichard of Middletown, Ohio; a brother in spirit, Roger Gibbs; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at Louisa Church of God by the Rev. John Sims. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Louisa. Friends may call from 1 to 9 tonight at Young Funeral Home in Louisa.
