Helen Parker Shumate Conley, 74, of Wheelersburg, OH, formerly of Carter City, Carter Co, Ky., born Jan 4, 1926 at Carter City, daughter of the late Albert Parker and Goldie Kiser Parker Cooper, died Apr 12, 2000 in Sciotoville, OH at the home of a sister. Preceded: 2 husbands, Earl Shumate in 1968 and Proctor Conley in 1993. Survived: step-son, Proctor "Junior" Conely, brothers, Edward E. Parker, Andrew Parker and Dewald C. Parker, sisters, Nevada Williams, Chattie Rice, Alberta Williams and Jessie Jewel Kewer, 5 step-grandchildren.. Burial: Apr 15, 2000 in the A. B. Gold Kiser Cemetery, Carter City, KY.
