Guy H. Nickels Sr. 1939-2007 Guy H. Nickels Sr. NILES — Guy H. Nickels Sr., 67, 323 High St., died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007, at Horizon Village Nursing Home. He was born Dec. 16, 1939, in Haldeman, Ky., the son of Frank L. and Maudie H. Jennings Nickels. He was owner-operator of Guy’s Dry Wall Company and a veteran of the National Guard. Survivors include his companion, Dorothy Belica; a son, Guy Christopher Nickels of Rockwood, Pa.; five daughters, Tina Duffy, Guyla Major and Shannon Tomlin, all of Niles, Michelle Slack of Rockwood, Pa., and Renee Nickels of Girard; two brothers, Cledith of Austintown and Clarence ‘‘Booney’’ of Niles; and 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased is a son, Guy H. Jr., a grandson, three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial Home, where friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
