Lorean McCown, age 90, of Rush , KY , ran into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, August 2nd, 2007 at her residence.
She was born May 9th, 1917 at Tracie City, TN, a daughter of the late George and Josie Vaughn Morgan.
She was a homemaker and a member of the 39th St. Pentecostal Church of Christ in Ashland , KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell McCown on September 17th, 1989.
Her survivors include:
7 children: Ralph and wife Ruedella McCown of West Union, OH,
Alvin and wife Marsha McCown of Olive Hill, KY,
Harold and wife Brenda McCown of Rush , KY ,
Charles and wife Charlene McCown of Grayson , KY ,
Delores and husband Danny Burton of Rush , KY ,
Ella Fowler of Rush , KY
And William and wife Jan McCown of Rush , KY ;
35 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 4th, 2007 at 2:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with David Wilcox and Walter Wilcox, officiating.
Burial will be in the East Carter County Memory Gardens .
Visitation will be held Friday evening, August 3rd, from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the funeral home. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
