son of Lillian Porter Manning Coates and the late Norman Manning.

Survived: wife, Wilma Jean Bond Manning, step-father, Ralph A. 'Ray' Coates, daughters, Theresa Lucas, 
Leslie Stevens, Amy Manning and Teresa Kelly Hedge, son, Keith Johnson, sister, Collean Rayburn, 
brothers, Carroll Manning, Vint Manning, Bryan Manning, step-sisters, Jackie Lou Burton, Dorothy Dummitt and Robin Coates, 
step-brother, Roger Coates, 6 grandchildren.  

Burial: June 26, 1999 in the Manning Cemetery.
