Geneva Rumery
 
MANSFIELD -- Geneva Rumery, 80, of Shenandoah died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004, at MedCentral/Mansfield Hospital. 

She was born July 18, 1924, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to Charles and Ocie Blevins Messer and was a Mansfield area homemaker most of her life. Geneva attended Bethel Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and completing puzzles. 

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Nettie and Jackie Bond of Shiloh, Shirley Ann and Elmer Bond of Shenandoah, Rita Lynn and Larry Hill of Shiloh; a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Debbie Rumery of Olivesburg; ten grandchildren; a grandson due in October; and 15 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James William Jessee Jr.; second husband, Wayne Rumery; two brothers, Theodore Messer and Charles Messer Jr.; and four sisters, Bea Kegley, Eva Christo, JoAnn Wilson and Irene Messer. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 13, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Freewill Baptist Church, 3983 Ohio 13 North, officiated by the Revs. Larry Hill Jr. and Jay Hill. Burial will follow in Springmill Cemetery.
