Michael Lynn McGlone 1947 - 2004 Michael Lynn McGlone, 56, of Grayson, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 14th, 2004 at his residence. Mr. McGlone was born December 28th, 1947, at Ashland, KY, a son of Clarice Griffith McGlone of Grayson and the late Estill “Buck” McGlone. His brother, Barry McGlone, also preceded him in death. He was retired from AK Steel in Plant Maintenance, was a member of the First Church of Christ in Grayson, the United Steel Workers, a former member of the Grayson City Council and was on the staff of Hidden Cove Golf Course. Mike was a generous man of quiet strength, intelligence and great heart. Family and friends who enjoyed his gift of story and joke telling will miss Mike. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: His wife: Jennifer Scott McGlone of Grayson. One son: Michael Kyle McGlone of Grayson; two daughters: Anna Angerer of East Bernstadt, KY and Rebecca Middleton of Grayson; one stepson: Will McDavid of Knoxville, TN; one step-daugher: Ashley Brown of Fort Wright, KY. Two sisters: Brenda Simpson of Grayson and Rita Gibson of Cabot, AK. Grandchildren: J.J. and John Angerer; Jacob and Brendan Middleton, Dalton McGlone, Breck Brown and Gabriel McDavid. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 17th, 2004 at 11:00am at the First Church of Christ in Grayson with Phil LeMaster, minister. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening, December 16th, from 5-8pm and Friday after 10:00am until service time at the First Church of Christ. Malone Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
