Kentucky GenWeb projectHomer Maddix 1913-2004 Homer Maddix, 90, of Firebrick, died Thursday, May 13, in Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Maddix was born Aug. 25, 1913, in Carter County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Musser Maddix. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens Cemetery in South Portsmouth with military rites by James L. Flannery American Legion Post 276 of South Shore. Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
