 Belva Kitchen Sturgill 

1909-2004 

On May 1, 2004, at 5:55 a.m., Belva Kitchen Sturgill, 94, was reunited with her loved ones. 

She will be missed dearly by those left behind, who one day, will join her in glory. She was born September 3, 1909, in Grayson, 
a daughter of the late Dave and Jane Stevens Fultz. She was the oldest living member of the Mount Chapel United Baptist Church 
and retired Postmaster at Beetle for 30 years. 

Belva was preceded in death by two husbands, Dearl Kitchen and Henry Sturgill. 

She is survived by four daughters, Irene Walters of N.M., and Nadine Sexton, Diann Jenkins and Carolyn Hedge, all of Grayson, Ky.; 
three sons, Dearl J. Kitchen and Chester Kitchen, both of Grayson, and Audie Kitchen of Blue Springs, Mo.; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; 
and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mount Chapel United Baptist Church by J.D. Riggs, 
Eury Barker and Terry Sexton. 

Burial will be in the Kitchen Family Cemetery at Beetle. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Malone Funeral Home and after 10 a.m.
