Thelma Sarah Mosier (nee Keaton)   

Thelma Sarah Mosier (nee Keaton), 81, of Lorain died Saturday, March 26, 2006, at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home in Lorain following a lengthy illness. 

Born and raised in Kentucky, she lived in Gary, Ind., during World War II where she worked at a steel mill before returning to Kentucky. 
She moved to Mansfield in 1951, where she lived for five years until she moved to Lorain where she worked as a cook at the Avon Oaks Nursing Home, 
until retiringin 1972. A member of the Grace Baptist Church in South Amherst, she also attended Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion, 
she enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. Survivors include her son , Donald Mosier of Vermilion; brothers Willie Keaton of Mansfield 
and Davis Keaton of Olive Hill, Ky.; four grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, William Mosier; son James Ray Mosier; parents, Harrison and Myrtle Keaton; 
brothers Chalmer and Beauford Keaton; and sisters Ina Buckston and Elizabeth Geary. 

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 E. 31st St. 
in Lorain where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
