Alene Hutchinson Hall - 1926-2007 Alene Hutchinson Hall, 81, of Rush, died Friday morning at Boyd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Alene was born March 11, 1926, in Carter County, a daughter of the late Vint and Minnie Kouns Hutchinson. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Dinkins, Lois Berry and Wanda Davis; and three brothers, Frank, Bob and Smithfield Hutchinson. Surviving in addition to her husband, James L. Hall, are five sisters, Betty Salyers, Katie (Don) Lucas, Charlotte Morrison, Joyce Rucker and Shirley (Johnny) Bostick. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday by chaplain Lee Gussler at Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland. Entombment will be in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
