Florence Stidham 

1919-2003 

Florence Margaret Stidham, age 83, of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at her residence. 

She was born Dec. 17, 1919, in Leon, Ky., a daughter of the late Phillip and Della Perry Hudgins. 

She was a homemaker, was a former overseer of East Carter County Memory Gardens, and was a member of Wilson Creek Baptist Church. 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Stidham; one son, Tom Stidham; one brother, Perry Hudgins; and two sisters, Carmen Criswell and Fredia Criswell. 

Her survivors include a son, Bill and his wife, Chris, Stidham of Franklin Furnace; and three grandchildren, Amy Bumgardner and her husband, Jim Andy, of Gastonia, N.C., Lafe Stidham of Athens, Ohio, and Alan Salyers of Franklin Furnace. A special thanks is given to caregivers, Kim Pierce and Chris Stidham. 

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson, Ky., with Harry Balmer and Joe Ed Rice, ministers. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens. 

Friends may call tonight, Dec. 10, from 6 to 9 and Thursday morning after 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
