FORMER GRAYSON MAN SUCCUMBS, RITES WEDNESDAY

Grayson-

     James Polk Horton, 78, formerly of Grayson, died Sunday following a heart attack at Leesburg, Fla, where he resided with a son, Tom Horton.
     Mr. Horton was born in Elliott County in 1879, a son of Polk and Elizabeth Boggs Horton.
     Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 3 pm, at the Grayson Methodist Church by the Rev. Allen Wilcox. Burial
     will be in the Grayson Memorial Park. The body was to arrive in Ashland tonight, and be taken to the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson. 
     Surviving are three sons;  Tom Horton, Leesburg, Fla, James Horton, Dayton,O and Clyde Horton , Louisville, Ky.

James Knox Polk Horton was born Sep 24, 1957 and died August 18, 1957 married Vena Amanda Rice born Nov 22, 1880 died March 13, 1955.
He was born to James Knox Polk Horton born April 1845 KY and died March 28, 1917 in Elton, Langlade Co., Wisconsin and wife, 
Elizabeth Green who was first married to Nelson Boggs who died at the Civil War Battle of Middlecreek. She married James Knox Polk secondly on Oct 9, 1867 in Carter Co., Ky
