Kentucky GenWeb projectLEV HOLBROOK 1907-1986 The Daily Independent, Ashland, Ky. Friday, May 30, 1986 Lev Holbrook, 76, of Willard, died Thursday at his home. Mr. Holbrook was born June 9, 1909 in Lawrence County, a son of the late John and Ollie Thornsberry Holbrook. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Belva Stamper Holbrook; two daughters, Gay Marshall of Grayson and Lou Carroll of Athens, Ala.; two sons, Delmis Holbrook and William Holbrook, both of Willard; two brothers, Chilt Holbrook of Louisa and Proctor Holbrook of Hatfield, Ark.; three sisters, Dolly Ratcliff of Willard, Margie Davis of London, Ohio, and Gladys Jolivette of Belfair, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The was conducated at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Frank Davenport, Minister. Burial will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens.
