Edna Floyd 

1913-2004 

Edna Irene Hignite Floyd, 90, of Grayson, Ky., went to be with the Lord on May 19 in King's Daughters Medical Center. 

Mrs. Floyd was born in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late William and Betty Hignite and the wife of the late Ottis Lee Floyd. 

She was a housewife and mother and was a member of Iron Hill Church of Christ. 

Mrs. Floyd is survived by one son, Wade, and daughter-in-law Joy Floyd of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Margaret 
and son-in-law Jim Scott and Bonnie and son-in-law Ronnie Pence, all of Grayson; five grandchildren, Mike, Rodney, Tammy, Bryan and Michelle; 
nine great-grandchildren, Heather, Amber, April, Krystal, Katie, Wade, Kaleb, Trey and Shelby; two great-great-granddaughters; 
three sisters-in-law, Hattie Hart of Grayson and Edythe Hignite and Marrina Hignite, both of Olive Hill, Ky.; four nieces; and two nephews. 

Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her parents and husband; one grandson, Tony Floyd; two brothers, Charlie and Strother Hignite; 
and one sister, Gladys Minniehan. 

Funeral services will be Friday, May 21, at 11 a.m. at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Jerry Scott. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
