April 9, 1958 C. M. Hamilton Farmer, Teacher, Dies Saturday Charlie M. Hamilton, 73, died at his home at Relief at 9:30 a.m. Saturday April 5, 1958, 
following an illness of several months. 

The son of Franklin and Miranda Lyons Hamilton, he was born January 27, 1885, in Johnson County. A prominent resident of Relief, 
he was a schoolteacher and farmer prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, 
Della Cox Hamilton, to whom he has been married forty-five years two daughters, Mrs. Ova Green, of this city; Mrs. Kermit Skaggs, Troutwood, Ohio; 
one grandson, Gale Skaggs; one granddaughter Geraldine Green four bothers, Emery Hamilton, Keaton; Brady Hamilton, Martin; 
John Hamilton Keaton; Orville Hamilton, Point Pleasant, W. Va. 

Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday April 7, 1958, from the Paint Valley Church at Relief with A. C. Bradley, 
Emerson Collier and Hood Wallen as officiating ministers. 

Burial was in the Lyons Cemetery at Keaton. Paintsville Herald Wednesday 4-9-1958
