Kentucky GenWeb projectVelma Ham (1910-2006) Velma Marie Ham, 96, of Ashland, died Sunday in Oakmont Manor Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 6, 1910, in Soldier. Her husband, Morrison Ham, preceded her in death. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made to steenfuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Boyd County Animal Shelter, 1025 Bob McCullough Drive, Ashland, KY 41102.
