Sereda K. Williams

Sereda Katherine Williams, 88, of Lake Jackson passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at her residence.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2007, in the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dave Mason officiating.

Burial will follow in the Angleton Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Williams was born June 22, 1919, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to Seble and Hattie Henderson Hall. She moved to Texas in 1978 from Ohio and lived in Angleton and Lake Jackson. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family and friends and was a member of the Angleton-Danbury Hospital Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil E. Williams, after 53 years of marriage.

Survivors include her three children, Wayne Williams and wife, Cindy, Wade Williams and wife, Adele, and Fran Beach and husband, Paul; six grandchildren, Brian Beach and wife, Kella, Jodie Able, Dewayne Williams, Stacie Williams, Philip Williams and wife, Rhonda, Cheryl Loughery and husband, Bryce; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Able, Stone Beach, Justin Williams and wife, Mayra, Brandon Williams, Matthew Williams, Jack Loughery and Kate Loughery; and one great-great-grandchild due in January.

Pallbearers will be Brian Beach, Dewayne Williams, Justin Williams, Brandon Williams, Skip Burr and Larry Mitchell.
