Ola McDavid 1919-2000 Ola Hall McDavid, 80, of Grayson, died Sunday in Carter Health Care in Grayson. Mrs. McDavid was born May 25, 1919, in Carter County, a daughter of the late John Milton and Bertha Crank Hall. Her husband, Wade McDavid; a daughter, Joan McDavid; and two sons, Gary McDavid and Ricky McDavid, preceded her in death. She was a member of United Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Josephine Parsons and Joyce Rogers, both of Grayson; four sons, Burl McDavid, Roland Dee McDavid, Murry Wade McDavid and Marty McDavid, all of Grayson; a sister, Sarah Sargent; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Charles Darren Blevins and Carl Graham. Burial will be in McDavid Family Cemetery in Grayson. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
